​Learn to Sail: US Sailing Basic Keelboat Course

Learn to Sail courses take place over a multi-day period with a combination of classroom and on-the-water instructional time. Lessons are taught on our Harbor 20 keelboats. Pre-reading materials is recommended--and books will be mailed following registration.

You'll walk away with a solid understanding of sailing and the opportunity to achieve your Basic Keelboat Certification if you pass your practical and written test.

20 hours 

Schedule:

Friday- 6 to 9 pm

Saturday- 8 am to 5 p.m. 

Sunday- 8 am to 5 pm, test at 4 pm.

Refunds will be made according to the timeline below:

• Cancellations made more than 4 weeks in advance of the scheduled start date of your sailing experience are entitled to a full refund minus the $25 processing fee.
• Cancellations made less than 4 weeks and more than 2 weeks in advance of the scheduled start date are entitled to a 50% refund of the program fee minus the $25 processing fee.
• Cancellations made less than 2 weeks in advance of the scheduled start date are non-refundable.

No refunds or discounts will be made for missed classes, vacation days or dismissal from the program.
